July is UV Safety Month and a reminder to stock up on sunscreen and after-sun lotions to keep your kids safe and soothed all summer long. Both are featured on the cover.
Also in the July issue of Parents is helpful advice from experts on how to ease children back into the world after the global pandemic. “Guiding Them Through the Big Return” (pp. 15–20) acknowledges the fear and frustrations kids and teens have dealt with this past year-and-a-half—a good chunk of time in a child’s life. The article recommends ways that parents can help their kids cope so a return to “normal” life goes smoothly.
